Bermuda Under-17 squad named for Bahamas

The Bermuda Football Association has announced the players and officials in the Bermuda Men’s Under-17 team, who will compete in the Caribbean Football Union Under 17 World Cup Qualifiers in Bahamas.

The team departs Bermuda on Monday.

Bermuda has been placed in group four and will play against Puerto Rico, Martinique, and host country the Bahamas.

The winners of each group and the two best second placed teams will advance to the final round to be held at a venue and date to be named.

Following the CFU U17 Group 4 matches in the Bahamas, the team will travel to Mexico City to participate in the 3rd Copa Mexico de Naciones 2014.

Bermuda has been drawn in Group D with Columbia, Portugal and Chile. The team will depart Bahamas for Mexico on July 28 and begin group matches on August 2. 

Under-17 squad: Jomari Gooden (SCC), Zenawi Bowen (United FC), Amar Lewis, Kacy Butterfield (United FC), Ahria Simons (Valencia), Jerome Bailey (NVCC), Azendae Furbert (United FC), Tahzeiko Harris (SCC), Judah Chapman (Wimbledon FC), Aaron Spencer (Valencia), Osagi Bascome (Valencia Next Generation – Spain), Jahkari Furbert (UE Cornela – Spain), Llneiko Millett (United FC), Ajai Daniels (Dandy Town), Oneko Lowe (Dandy Town), Jason Symonds (Dandy Town), Macquille Walker (Hamilton Parish), Nathan Trott (Valencia Next Generation – Spain), Aaron Burgess – (Hamilton Parish), Jomei Bean-Lindo (Dev. Colts)
