Bermuda can now vote to help Llineiko Millett join the three selected to travel to Barbados and participate in the Digicel Kick Start Academy, Digicel Bermuda announced today.
Ahria Simons, Jason Symonds and Kamali Davis will travel to Barbados in October to experience top notch football training during a week-long session with some of the world’s best Chelsea FC coaches. However, wildcard entrant, Llineiko Millett needs Bermuda’s help in securing a spot with his counterparts at the Academy.
Wildcard entrants were selected from participating Clinics across the Caribbean for having the fastest overall speed as measured by speed and agility testing with and without a football. As a result, Llineiko is featured in a social media campaign entitled “Pick Your Top 3” alongside 13 other wildcard entrants within the region. Ultimately, the 3 wildcard entrants with the most votes via a Facebook App will too attend the Digicel Kick Start Academy in Barbados.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Bermuda to come together and back a very eager, young footballer,” comments Alistair Beak, CEO of Digicel Bermuda. “We encourage Bermuda’s social media community to participate in this initiative designed to not only showcase local talent on a global stage, but provide a rewarding experience for those selected.”
Folks interested in voting have until 6pm, July 24th and can visit Digicel In Bermuda on Facebook or @DigicelBermuda on Twitter or Instagram for details.
