At the official opening today of the Blueprint Hair Studio in the S.E. Pearman Building on Par-La-Ville road, the Minister of Home Affairs Sen. The Hon. Michael Fahy JP congratulated owner Raquel Brown on her success saying: “Ms Raquel Brown, Blueprint’s Owner and CEO, is a young lady that has taken control of her own destiny and with her most capable team, is well on her way to making her vibrant business dream a reality. We congratulate the Blueprint team for being an inspiration to hundreds of other existing small businesses island-wide as well as those individuals looking to start a business one day. BEDC, by way of its loan guarantee facility, has helped to provide financing to Blueprint to facilitate its start-up. We encourage any entrepreneur needing business collateral support to contact BEDC to learn more about this form of loan financing assistance.”
The Minister added: “As you know, this Government is committed to business and job growth as well as the recovery of our economy and, as such, the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) is one of the Government’s tools to achieve this growth. This Government recognizes that Bermuda’s small businesses are its life blood and the BEDC is a key organization committed to small business growth and development as Bermuda’s premier source of free confidential business advice and support for entrepreneurs. Therefore, I encourage Bermuda’s entrepreneurs to take advantage of the many opportunities that are provided by the BEDC.”
