The West won the Under-14s’ All-Star cricket match at the National Sports Centre.
They took on the best of the East and compiled 217 runs from 35 overs. In reply, the East could muster only 129. The MVP was Josi Butterfield from Warwick Workmen’s Club with 54 runs, while the Play of The Game went to Simeon Burrows, of SCC, who took an impressive catch.
In the Under-11s’ All-Star game, the West made 65 runs in 15 overs, with the East coming up short. Zaki Wolffe, of Western Stars, was the MVP with 21 runs. The Play of the Game went to Jarryd Richardson, of Prep Stars.
