The Huddersfield Examiner featured a story today on Bermudians getting behind the striker's new team and snapping up his number 21 shirt.
The article features Bermudian Ryan Roberts proudly holding Well's new Huddersfield shirt.
The Martin Shaw story says: "Football fans in Bermuda have gone Town crazy thanks to record signing Nahki Wells.
"Locals on the Atlantic paradise isle can’t get enough of their biggest footballing export.
"Town’s shop has been inundated with orders for replicas of Nahki’s No 21 shirt – and that includes from fans in Bermuda, more than 3,000 miles away."
Wells, who has scored two goals in two games since his arrival, is cup-tied for today’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Charlton because he played in the FA Cup for Bradford City.Instead Wells and fellow new signing Joe Lolley were at the club’s Canalside base for a question-and-answer session with fans from 12.30pm (UK time)
