Man faces sex charges against teen girls
A man today appeared in court charged with molesting two girls under 14.
The 34-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with touching both girls inappropriately on multiple occasions.
He was also charged with having sex with both girls who are under the age of 14. The offences allegedly happened between September 2010 and September 2013 in Pembroke.
The defendant, who isn’t Bermudian, was not required to enter pleas as the matters must be heard in the Supreme Court.
After a lengthy bail hearing, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner granted the man $25,000 bail with one surety.
He must surrender his travel documents.
The defendant will reappear in two weeks.
