Car smashes into police station

A car collided with a section of Somerset Police Station’s perimeter wall at around 1:55am yesterday.

The driver, a 31-year-old Sandys parish man, was not injured and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. 

The car received extensive front-end damage while the section of wall was also extensively damaged. 

Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are asked to contact PC Chaquita Simmons at Somerset Police Station on 234-1010. n
