Lasers battle it out on the Great Sound

The National Championship of the Bermuda Laser Standard Rig took place at the weekend — with Cameron Pimental emerging victorious. Hot on his heels, though, was Owen Siese, who won the radial national championships a couple of weeks ago.

Pimental claimed only one win but was rewarded for his consistency and three second-place finishes to finish with a nett seven points (worst of five results could be discarded).

Siese ended with a nett nine points, while Brett Wright was third with 10.

Kalin Hillier was fourth with 11 points and Rajae Woods fifth on 18.

There were eight entries into the competition.
