The holiday break had no effect on some members of the Fishbowl League while others struggled.

Richard Zuill topped the scoring list, wiping the grin off the pins’ faces with a 277, 227 and 190 for top series 694.

It was no contest as Tuna gained no points due to a forfeit to leave Marlins with all four.

Wahoo have taken over first place in the standings on the strength of a 3-1 win over Mackerel.

Tiffany Rego, increasing  her average weekly, led the Wahoo with a 547 series.

For the Mackerel, Gladwin Harvey pulled out all the stops with a 582 but the team could not muster enough pins to stop the Wahoo. Albert Botelho was in consistent  form, bowling games of 201, 201 and 204 to total a 606 series to lead Goldfish to all four points in their Match against Bye (Gone fishin’).

Snappers went after the Dolphins with a vengeance   to  end the night taking all four points on the lead of John Adams.  For the Dolphins, Corinne Durrant was tops in a low-scoring match. Hog Fish and Cow Pollies’ encounter resulted in the Hog Fish hogging maximum points led by Hanny  Consolacion’s 532 series  and 227 game.

The Pollies struggled  and their efforts were to no avail.

Swordfish dealt a blow to the Barracuda, displacing  them from top spot by winning  all four points.

Jamel Bean and Lionel Cann led the battle as Bean bowled a 557, while close on his heels Lionel Cann chipped in a 531 and 246 game. Quinton Malloy battled hard for Barracuda but could manage only 502.

Completing the matches, Milkfish poured milk over Porgies’ dreams.

The Milkfish’s Joseph Robinson was the damaging cause with a 534 while for the  limping Porgies Vernon Daniels could only manage a 530 and Ted Swiss a 521, well below their  capability.
