Interview by Mikaela Ian Pearman.

Your earliest memory?

I remember quite a bit from my childhood as it was so much fun and very loving. I would say my favourite ones were of my dad letting me sit in his lap and steer the steering wheel when he would take me for drives up Somerset to see his friends.

What were you like in school?

Contrary to belief, I was not a joker. I was very athletic and pretty intelligent.  Got straight A’s for the most part. Was a teacher’s pet and was pretty popular amongst my peers.  However, I was kind of a troublemaker.

Who is your hero/heroine?

I looked up to my Uncle Paul a lot. He did everything that I was interested in and was the closest thing I had to a big brother.

Which human trait do you dislike the most?

Selfishness and self-centred people.

Human trait you value most in others?

Genuine humbleness and kindness.

Which film character would you be?

I have a huge respect for Denzel Washington. As far as a character, Shaft is always a fan favourite. He’s one bad mutha (shut yo mouth).

When did you last laugh out loud? And why?

I try to get a good one in everyday. My last one was yesterday. Anytime I’m with either Nadanja, Balls or Ty I’m guaranteed to be dying of laughter.

Do you believe in fate?

Yeah, I do. I believe that everything happens for a reason…even if the reason sucks at times lol.

Your ultimate ambition?

To see my charity that I formed years back achieve all the goals and aims I have set out for it to achieve.

Your most unappealing habit?

Probably that I can be pretty spiteful and vengeful when I’m rubbed the wrong way. Either that or the fact that I bite my nails.

Describe yourself in three words.

Humble, compassionate, well-mannered.

Best party you’ve ever been to?

That’s a hard one as I make my own fun whenever I’m out and in the mood.  But I would probably have to say almost every Playbwoy party I went to. Especially the one we had in London, Ontario.

Biggest disappointment?

That I never got to properly work in the field that I studied for in University. I am curious to know what and where I would have been in life had I gotten that chance.

Biggest regret?

Not getting to say one last goodbye to my two grandmothers and my dad.

Closest you’ve ever come to death?

Probably just once. A bike accident after a good night of partying. Not cool at all. Minor injuries though, thank God. I’ve been pretty fortunate to not have many near-death experiences. He’s watched over me well.

What animal would you be and why?

I have two favourites actually. An eagle because they are tenacious, fearless and possess vitality. And of course a lion  due to their strength, leadership and power.

What do you do if you can’t sleep?

I either go online and watch youtube videos or play Play Station ‘til my eyes get tired. Nyquil is also a good remedy.

If you had a time machine, where would you go?

A few sentimental places in time of course, but definitely back to when I was like 10 years old at least! That’s when life was fun and I didn’t have any bills. Later on in life, I’d invent Facebook and WhatsApp then sell them both for $40 billion.

If you weren’t an electrician and an entertainer, what would you be?

I would probably be involved in some kind of graphic design or digital media field as I love that kind of thing. Anything artsy. I would have loved to have been a professional athlete. I was really good at track and field and football. Had the chance when I was young but didn’t want to
relocate to the States for the correct training and tutelage. Didn’t want to miss my friends. I didn’t know any better at the time.  I was a kid

What’s your attitude towards money?

I treat money like my favourite celebrity. I’ve managed all my life pretty well with it not being around, however I would love to meet it one day.

Which cartoon character is most like you?

Stewie from Family Guy. He’s creative, imaginative, funny, witty, eloquent and very sarcastic .

Nicest thing anyone has ever said to you?

“The thought of your existence in my life as a friend brightens my day. Don’t ever change”

Define romantic love.

The kind that doesn’t require material things to survive. The kind that makes you anxious to be in your partner’s presence.  The kind where your heart races and you smile whenever you think of them.

Most treasured possession?

My word. It means everything to me.

A dream location for a home?

I love living in Bermuda as it doesn’t have many of the extreme social issues and natural disasters as other places. But if I had to choose another country, I would probably choose somewhere nice in South America along the coast.

Your attitude to exercise?

No pain no gain. But I’ll start “tomorrow” lol.

If you were a pigeon, who would you poop on?

Old bosses and managers lol. And maybe an ex or two lol.

If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it?

Firstly I would have to move to another country because $1 million isn’t going to stretch too far in Bermuda too well. I would invest some, and enjoy some.  Would definitely take my mom, uncle and closests friends on a nice cruise or trip somewhere.

What would you most like to be remembered for?

Being genuine and being the best ME that I could to people. Also, my
efforts to influence my community and country in a positive way.

Most important lesson life has taught you?

To enjoy every day like it’s your last because it just might be.

To appreciate those I love and that genuinely love me, because time waits for no man. And to not take life so seriously, because no one gets out of it alive.
