A man who was apprehended outside Lindo’s last week appeared in court this morning.
The 40-year-old Southampton man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to intruding on the privacy of a 14-year-old girl on February 5 in Devonshire.
Crown counsel Susan Mulligan told the court the girl was in the store shopping when the manager was informed that the defendant was carrying a bag with a camera and taking photos up girls' skirts.
The court heard the defendant was approached and detained outside the store until police arrived.
The matter was adjourned for trial on May 28. The defendant was remanded into custody.
