A 44-year-old Warwick man appeared in court today charged with stabbing another man.
Dennis Maynard was charged with wounding Raymond Jones on October 11 in Warwick with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Mr Maynard was not required to enter a plea as the matter is indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.
The court heard Mr Jones was allegedly stabbed in the back with a knife after an argument with Mr Maynard.
The matter was adjourned for two weeks and Mr Maynard was granted $10,000 bail with one surety.
He must not interfere with the complainant and must report to the Hamilton Police Station every Monday.
