Theresa Minors, JP is the CEO and owner of PlayList Management, LLC – an artist management company based in Bermuda and registered in Atlanta, GA. She has been successful in promoting artists locally as well as overseas. In 2012, her artist ill-Logical Linguistics won the Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) for his single Go Slow in the Rap/Hip-hop category. She followed up that win with another in 2013 with her new artist, Kidd Clazzic for his single Fly Away (Rap/Hip-hop — HMMA 2013). In addition to this win, Kidd Clazzic has been nominated for the Independent Music Awards for 2014 (Rap category) which will be announced in May. She continues to promote, market, and assist her clients within the music industry aboard. However, she firmly believes in cultivating the talent here at home. In 2010, she created the Developing Artists Program (DAP), along with her husband, David Sinclair Minors, which provides young Bermudian artists the opportunity to experience the entertainment industry through a week intensive during the summer every year. On April 27, 2014, DAP is hosting a fundraising concert at the Earl Cameron Theatre (City Hall) entitled Then & Now which will assist 12 local students with their expenses for the trip. The show starts at 7pm and tickets will be available at the door for $20.
When did you last laugh out loud?
I laugh out loud often. Usually because of close friends, my humorous kids or insane husband.
Your earliest memory?
My earliest memory was my father putting me on his shoulders so I could reach the loquats that I had tried to get myself but had gotten stung by the stinging nettle at the base of the tree.
What were you like in school?
It depends on who you ask (lol).
If you were given a
million dollars tomorrow what would you do with it?
I would make an investment for my family, place percentage in savings, give some to support my parents, as well as randomly help someone or an organization. Then I would
probably blow the rest!
Who is your hero/heroine?
I don’t have one in
particular. Everyone is in my life for a reason.
Human trait you value most in others?
I would have to say Trust
Do you believe in fate?
Yes. I believe that there is a combination of factors that determine ones fate/destiny — mainly your own choices and
efforts.
Your greatest fear?
Not fulfilling my purpose.
Most embarrassing
moment?
Good Friday. Showing my kids how to put up a kite without pitching I ran backwards and tripped.
Your most unappealing habit?
Nothing —next question. lol.
Describe yourself in three words.
Ambitious, dependable, dedicated.
Which human trait do you dislike the most?
There are a couple but the one that is most
annoying to me would be dishonesty.
Best party you’ve ever been to?
A sun-down to sun-up party thrown for my birthday in Atlanta. It was the longest night ever — then to the airport!
Biggest regret?
Not realizing my passion sooner.
Closest you’ve ever come to death?
A roach crawling up my pant leg!
Your desert island song?
Nothing for Somethings by Kidd Clazzic.
What animal would you be and why?
Elephant because they never forget.
What do you do if you can’t sleep?
BB my friends to see if they are awake too. No seriously — lol.
If you had a time machine, where would you go?
I wouldn’t go anywhere. I would send people away!
Your most memorable dream?
Can’t remember — it was that awesome — lol.
Most unpleasant exchange you have had with a
person?
The worst exchange I had was my first major business encounter with Maxwell’s Management team. It was horrible.
Best advice you have ever taken?
That being self-fulfilling wasn’t being selfish. Take the risk towards my
success.

A shell off of my daughter’s P1 picture — it travels everywhere with me.

Your proudest achievement?
Creating the DAP programme, which has provided so many young artists the chance to fulfill their destiny — allowing them to walk into their calling.
Most important lesson life has taught you?
To never be afraid to try — think outside the box and achieve where others may fail.
What would you most like to be remembered for?
I enjoy helping and inspiring people. At the end of it all I want someone to say that because of me, they didn’t give up.
