Argus aids Chewstick
Helping Hand: The Argus Group has made a donation to the cultural arts movement the Chewstick Foundation, which will ensure the enhancements of its programmes. The funds will help to fund initiatives such as the True Wisdom In Growing Souls (T.W.I.G.S.) Youth Open Mic, the Ital Clarke Learning Studio and the new Break The Chains Programme. As a direct impact of the Argus donation, the T.W.I.G.S. Youth Open Mic has developed a Youth Board that consists of young people from The Bermuda College, The Berkeley Institute, Cedarbridge Academy and the Bermuda High School for Girls. Students that sit on the Youth Board are improving project management processes, encouraging teamwork and improving marketing and communications while also empowering their generation to take charge of their own destiny. This is one among a number of schemes Argus has aided.
