What's 'Appening: 2048

The number one free app for the past two weeks is 2048, a tile game in which you combine equal numbers (such as an 8 and an 8). 

As the tile numbers get larger and larger, space begins to run out as you aim to get to the 2048 tile. 

I downloaded the game last Wednesday thinking it would be easy enough to do. I was soon faced with the fact that it was harder than I thought it was going to be. 

It took me five days of playing five to 10 games a day to finall yreach the 2048 tile. 

I used it as a time-killer while waiting in line or waiting for other people.

After my triumph over the numbers on Sunday, I have stopped playing the game

It’s a fun little game but it won’t be one you keep playing once you master it.
