The Bermuda Futsal Federation held its first Women’s Futsal Cup Competition at the Bermuda College Gym.
PHC continued their outstanding form to win the inaugural tournament to add it to their league championship.
Aliyah Nolan, from PHC, won the Most Valuable Player award and was the high goalscorer with nine goals. The surprise team of the tournament was Dandy Stars Gold, consisting of Dandy Stars younger players.
They had to come out of the losers bracket to get to the finals, but ended up going further than their more senior sister team, Dandy Stars Brown, who had a disappointing time.
Recap of the games:
Game 1: Dandy Stars Brown 4-3 Dandy Stars Gold. Game 2: HPWC 3-2 YMSC. Game 3: PHC 5-3 SCC
Semi-finals: Dandy Stars Gold 5-5 HPWC (Gold won on pens); PHC 7-1 Dandy Stars Brown
Final: PHC 7-2 Dandy Stars Gold.
