It’s all change on board the Atlantic Guardian when she calls into St George’s today.

More than a dozen new sailors will swap places with existing crew for the next leg of the ship’s voyage to Norway.

The new crew flew into Bermuda last night from across the world, while the old crew are expected to fly home this evening.

The Atlantic Guardian is a former cable ship that
has been modified to conduct seismic work out at sea.

She is designed and built to work in some of the most inhospitable seas in the world.

The vessel is owned by electro magnetic survey specialists EMGS and has been working in Mexico since November last year.

She is expected to come alongside at Penno’s Wharf this afternoon at 3pm from Mexico and head back out to sea again three hours later.

Otherwise it’s just the usual container ships this week.

The Oleander is now on her summer schedule, so will arrive in Hamilton again on Sunday.

The Somers Isles and the Bermuda Islander are both due to come alongside in the capital tomorrow.
