The Fishbowl League had a few sleeper teams that pulled out all the stops to hammer their opponents in week two.
Wahoo and Mackerel battled it out to a 2-2 draw, with David Mello leading the way for Wahoo with a 596 while for Mackerel it was William Steede who tallied the highest scratch series of the night, a 637.
Dolphins were determined to hold on to the number one spot and took all four points against Snappers. Carl Durrant was top bowler for Dolphins with a 599 while Snappers’ Peter Winsby scored their highest series of 569. Marlins were dealt a shock loss when Tuna won all four points with a complete team effort.
Goldfish showed their colours when they won all four points from BYE (Gone Fishin) with Carlos Estravit at the lead with a 608 scratch series and game of 232. To win points from the BYE a team must not bowl any lower than 40 pins below their team average each game.
Milkfish could only muster one point as the Porgies went home with three points, while Cow Pollies showed their stripes to Hog Fish and added three Points to their tally.
Barracuda were led by Joshua Bento’s 577 to add three points against Swordfish.
