Raleigh to raise funds with Casino Classic
A fundraising casino night in aid of Operation Raleigh was today moved from the outdoors venue of Fort Hamilton to Pier 6 on Front Street due to fears over the weather.
Organisers said the risk of rain meant a last-minute change to the alternative venue.
Operation Raleigh works with Bermudians aged 17-25, aimed at developing skills, building team spirit and involves a 10 week overseas expedition, which includes community work.
Tickets for the Monte Carlo Casino Classic event, which runs from 8pm to 11pm tonight, are $75 each, which includes food, two drink tickets and musical entertainment.
