Bermuda found things tough going in rainy Isle of Man competing in the Inter-Island Hockey Tournament.
The fifth biennial event got under way on Friday — and Bermuda failed to register a win, mustering just one goal between the men's and women's teams.
The opening day was a chastening one for Bermuda’s men, in particular. They suffered a 12-0 defeat to the Isle of Man, while the women put up a better show, going down by a solitary goal, also to the hosts.
Saturday’s action saw the men beaten 4-0 by Guernsey, while the women lost 2-1 to Orkney and 7-0 to Guernsey.
Bermuda's men found life tough going again against Jersey, going down 7-0, while on Sunday the women wrapped up their tournament with a 4-0 defeat, again to Jersey.
The popular event features men’s and women’s teams from Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Orkney (women’s only) and Bermuda.
