Driver charged over double injury crash

A 25-year-old man appeared in court today charged with injuring two people in a road collision.

Tymothy Scraders of Devonshire is accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Christian Hillen and Matthew Correia on July 21 in Paget by driving dangerously in a motor car on Middle Road.

Mr Scraders is also charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident on Middle Road, while driving a motor car.

The defendant was not required to enter pleas as the matters are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner adjourned the matter to October 29 and granted Mr Scraders $10,000 bail with one surety.
