Dress to impress at Gatsby gathering

Passionate about life and want to meet like-minded people?

If so, you are invited to a Great Gatsby-themed ‘glamorous evening filled with fun, mingling, excitement and a touch of style’. 

The sophisticated gathering is at Atelier Lounge, in association with Polished, tonight from 5pm. Atelier Lounge is an entertainments venue on Reid St.

A spokesman for the store said: “Atelier Lounge is interested in creating a relaxed forum which will allow people who are passionate about life to socialise. The Gatsby theme was chosen to represent a person’s ability to rise above their present reality.

“The event is designed to cater to and stimulate the senses by encouraging people to dress up and have fun with other like-minded people in an atmosphere which will include great music and a wide sampling of delicious hors d’oeuvres provided by Wilks Catering (Desmond Townsend who is also known as “Mr English”). This event represents the rebirth of Atelier Lounge. ”

Drinks will be provided by Bacardi and Goslings, and a signature complimentary cocktail which will be given to all partygoers on arrival. Other drinks at the fully-stocked bar will be moderately priced.

More events are scheduled to take place over the next few months. Atelier Lounge is at 56 Reid St on the second floor. Part proceeds go towards The Chewstick Foundation. n
