The Old Town will welcome its second cruise liner of the month when the Silver Spirit arrives later this week.
The liner will come alongside at Penno’s Wharf on Friday morning on her voyage between Madeira and Fort Lauderdale.
The luxury liner is one of the few cruise ships small enough to squeeze through Town Cut.
She is fitted with a 8,300-square-foot spa, a resort-style pool and four whirlpools but caters for just 540 guests on board.
The Silver Spirit is the newest vessel in the Silversea-family but will only be in the East End for a matter of hours before she strikes out for the US at around 5pm on Friday.
At around the time she leaves the Azamara Quest will putting down her gangways in Hamilton.
The liner, which also originates in Madeira, will remain in the capital overnight before heading to Miami on Saturday afternoon.
There are now just two more cruise calls left for 2013.
The penultimate one being the Riviera, which arrives in Dockyard next Thursday, and the final call of the year being the Pacific Prince that gets in just before Christmas.
Meanwhile elsewhere this week it’s just been the usual three container vessels along with a fuel tanker.
The Cape Bacton arrived in Bermuda on Sunday and during stops in Dockyard and the Oil Docks in St George’s supplied Rubis and Esso with fuel for the coming months.
