The days in which the Apostle Paul lived are not that different from today.
The gospel has been preached in its purity, and new believers are targeted by “others” who try to turn them away from the truth they once embraced with joy.
Think about it. When you first got saved, you were overwhelmed with joy, peace and love.
You had a feeling that was almost indescribable, and you considered it to be the best day of your life.
It is that feeling that the devil is out to steal from you as he kills your joy and destroys your relationship with God.
The Apostle Paul founded many churches. Later, he returned to warn them against those who desired to remove them from the gospel by presenting another gospel, which was really a counterfeit presented as real.
Galatians 1:6-8
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
It is very easy to mislead young Christians and immature Christians because they tend to be controlled by their soulish realm, rather than by the spirit of the living God.
It is very easy to shake the faith of those who are not as yet firm and on the surest of foundations concerning their Christian walk.
How is it that the devil can turn church people away from church? Simple.
He must continue to do what he has always done.
It was what he demonstrated in The Garden of Eden. Satan went to Adam and Eve and gave them a portion of The Word of God. That’s right. Satan spoke a partial truth that was skewed to create doubt in who God is and what God meant by what He had spoken. That is what Satan does all day long. He is a liar and the father of lies, and he must draw the tender ones into his lies.
Therefore, Satan always begins with the truth and then he twists and turns it so that he leads the vulnerable ones down the wrong pathway.
This is what the Bible refers to as being perverted. Yes, the person who turns others away from the truth of The Word of God is a pervert!
To pervert is to turn around, to transmute, or corrupt. A pervert is twisted and will twist the Word of God around in order to produce another twisted person.
The Apostle Paul gave a warning that makes all the sense in the world. Stay away from the pervert!
Stay away from the person who tries to persuade you to believe something that you never believed in the first place. He or she is twisted and is trying to make you twisted.
How do you know that you live in a perverted time or a perverted society?
You know this because many things that once were considered absolutely abnormal and unacceptable have now become mutated and acceptable.
Many things that the world has labelled acceptable are called perverted (twisted) and accursed in The Word of God. It is quite amazing to live in a time when more and more of the abnormal are being subtly crafted into being the new norms.
That is exactly what The Apostle Paul warns against –– another gospel. The devil would have you to believe that “another gospel” is acceptable, approved by God, and will cause you to enter into Heaven in the last days. Not true. There is only one Gospel, and that is the truth that was told and demonstrated by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Any person that speaks otherwise is accursed and has set up a false god in a false temple that shall not stand in the latter day.
Be careful who you give your ear to in this day.
They will tickle your ear in order to touch your heart into believing an untruth. If you have ever known of Jesus, then you must know Him again. For Jesus is the ONLY way to get to the Father in heaven.
If you want to see Jesus one day, and if you want to live in Heaven eternally, then do not listen to the accursed, but hold onto the truth of The Gospel that you first embraced.
RESPICE FINEM.
