It was a night of tied matches in latest round of matches in the Bermuda Snooker League.
Royal Artillery Association and Spanish Point Boat Club could not be separated at 3-3.
Royal Artillery’s Honky Burrows won his two games against Stewart Greenslade 66-26 and 50-49, while Spanish Point’s Chris Dakin defeated Fred Richardson 52-43 and Ed Gumbs beat Mike McGowan 47-40.
The doubles partners of Richardson/McGowan defeated Spanish Point’s Dakin/Gumbs 52-38.
The second drawn match for the night also ended 3-3 between Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club and Watford Sports Club2.
Tony Dawson and Dinghy Club’s Jon Pedro would split a point each in the double-frame games. Pedro won the first game posting a score of 48-32 and Dawson won the second game 57-53.
Pedro would also capture the high break of 22 for the night.
Watford’s Aaron Bean sailed by Ross Spurling, winning his game 79-13 and RHADC’s Tom Cunningham defeated Keino Zuill 46-21. The doubles game was won by Bean/Zuill 46-31 against Spurling/Cunningham.
In the final match of the night there was yet another 3-3 draw between Watford Sports Club1 and Sandy’s Boat Club.
Watford’s Steven Bremar gave WSC a two-point lead by winning his two games against John Bromby 70-29 and 62-33.
Sandy Peter Bromby however came back fighting to win his game against Ray DeSilva 55-44.
De Silva came out victorious, winning his game against Martin Siese 57-27. P. Bromby/Siese defeated R. DeSilva/Z. De Silva to claim the doubles match 61-53. n
