Defendant threatened to 'blow victim away', court told

A 46-year-old man denied threatening to shoot a man with a gun.

Eldon Raynor Junior appeared in Magistrates’ Court today where he pleaded not guilty to uttering threatening words to Ryan Smith, “I will get my gun and blow you away because I will only get 25 years”.

Mr Raynor also denied unlawfully assaulting Mr Smith on the same date, March 18, in Sandys.

The matter was adjourned for trial on August 27. Mr Raynor was given $2,000 bail.
