National Coach David Moore said,

"It was very encouraging to see so many young cricketers, both boys and girls, turn out for our mid intake trials. This is a great indication of the developing reputation of the program for excellence in coaching and character development. The winter program has been a great success in the development of the players skills and attitude, both on and off the field. I have received wonderful feedback from community members and parents about the players behavior and attitude to cricket, school work and their fellow Bermudians. I am looking forward to this development continuing throughout their careers."

"The summer program will further develop the players and assist them in developing a broad range of skills. This full year program, made up of both winter and summer semesters, will continue to strengthen the young players skills in an enjoyable environment as well as allow them to develop a love of the game that will carry them through their lives."

"The Bermuda Cricket Board National Academy is the benchmark for the development of young cricketers on the Island. It deals with the development of cricket skills as well as the character development. It is hoped that the culture that is established within the academy can be continued to further strengthen Bermuda cricket at all levels."
