We are living in the last days of a godless world

Saints of God, be careful.  You live in a day when the enemy of your soul desires that you are taken hostage.

Oh yes, there are a group of non-believers who desire to hold hostage your faith, your focus, and your God-future.

It is vitally important that as children of God you recognize that you are living in the last days.

What is going on in the world is spoken of in the Bible.

While it breaks the heart of God, it ought to break your heart too.

Yet, God spoke of these things that would be.

Here is your challenge. You must not let the dictates of worldly people or of godless people shift your ability to worship God in spirit and in truth.

No, life is about choices. They have made their choice and you have made your choice.

Let no other person place you in shackles of concern or in chains of silence concerning your love and passion for the unseen God.

That’s right, God is unseen by the natural and lustful eye.

Yet, God is felt in your heart and witnessed in creation.

Soloman

Solomon was the wisest man of his day. Solomon worshipped and honoured God after the same example of his father, King David.

Solomon knew how great a leader King David was and Solomon desired to be able to lead God’s people with an understanding heart.

Solomon asked God for the ability to judge between right and wrong.

9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: For who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

God is pleased when you seek Him for advice. There is no greater consultant than God.

The challenge of today will be to seek God, His face, and His guidance in a world that has become increasingly godless.

Often, people are encouraged to know their beginnings and know their roots.

Yet, what if Bermuda’s youth and adults alike knew and understood the root of godliness that has saturated the history of Bermuda and her people?

While Solomon sought to please God, there are those who want you to think that there is no God.

Evil

If you are wise, you will understand that there must be a God.

Solomon was so passionate about wanting to please God in all that he did, that he thought on it continuously.

It would only be as Solomon went to sleep, that God would speak to him.

There are times when you are so busy talking to God that you have not stopped long enough to listen to God as He speaks.

Therefore, God will talk to you while you sleep. While you are sub-conscious, God will answer your questions.

1 Kings 3:5 In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: And God said, Ask what I shall give thee.

11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: Lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

In today’s world, you must do what Solomon did. You need to ask God for the ability to judge.

There is evil in this world and there is good. The sad thing is that there are times when one looks like the other.

Therefore, you must be able to discern the right things.

It will always be that whatever lines up with God’s Holy Word is right.

You can only judge right or discern right when you live according to the right of God’s Word. All else is wrong.

Do not let unbelievers, haters of God’s Word, or those who dislike Christians shake you or place you in any sort of apprehensive fear.

They are of another father. You are of God. Live what you believe and live to live again eternally.

Respice finem.
