U.S. Consul General Robert Settje will hold a town hall meeting for American citizens at his official residence, Cedarhurst, 33 Wilkinson Avenue, Hamilton Parish.
The meeting, which is intended for American citizens age 18 and over, will be held on Thursday, April 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Attendance will be limited for space reasons to the first 100 American citizens who register online at the U.S. Consulate website at http://hamilton.usconsulate.gov.
The first 100 Americans registered will receive a notice that a space has been reserved for them. They will be asked to confirm their attendance several days prior to the meeting. Registrants not among the first 100 will be put on a wait list and notified should a space become available.
Space will be allocated on a first come-first serve basis, so the Consulate General recommends that interested Americans register as soon as possible. To gain admittance to the town hall meeting, each attendee will be required to bring his/her American passport.
The town hall will provide an opportunity to get to know Consul General Settje and other Consulate officers and to ask questions. Mr. Settje looks forward to welcoming Americans to his home.
