BMRC target California endurance test
Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club has confirmed it is hoping to send a team to compete in the 4th Annual M1GP 24-Hour Super Endurance Motorcycle Race in California on September 21.
The M1 Grand Prix-organised charity event will take place at the Willow Springs International Raceway and will raise money for Riders for Health, although teams can also raise money for charities of their choice.
BMRC have five riders currently interested — minimum for a team is four — and have given members until the end of April to confirm whether they’d like to take part.
M1 GP has said they will provide BMRC with one bike at no charge for the endurance test. If enough riders come forward, the club said they will rent a second.
If participation in the event is given the green light, the club will host fundraising events May through September to cover costs and raise money for charity.
