It's sweet 16 for NVCC
A shutout was prevented with Sher-Kyra Outerbridge scoring the only goal for YMSC.
The other scorers for NVCC were LeiLanni Nesbeth (2), Symira Lowed-D (2), Whitnae Duerr (2), Zakiyah Durham, Jadae Steede-Hill, Teiyah Durham and Leanne Yates.
Meanwhile, there was thrilling nine-goal shootout between SCC and Dandy Stars Gold, with SCC edging it 5-4.
SCC established a solid 5-2 lead at half-time. However, Dandy Stars Gold were a different team in the second half, narrowing SCC’s lead to one.
Eva Frazzoni and Sierra Fisher bagged two each for SCC, while Cleshaunay Darrell-Virgil scored twice for Dandy Stars
In another one-sided victory, PHC hammered HPWC 9-0, with Micah Pond scoring five.
