Bermuda’s most prestigious fishing tournament enjoys its 48th event in Hamilton from June 17.
The Bermuda International Light Tackle Tournament is one of Bermuda’s oldest and most well-established fishing tournaments.
The Bermuda Anglers Club will be hosting the event, which is fished over four days.
The tournament headquarters will be at the central location of Barr’s Bay Park, making it easier to see the daily weigh-ins.
This year four international teams will pit their skills against three teams from Bermuda.
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories: Championship team, second place team, third place team, daily high point team, daily high point fish (the heaviest fish each day), daily high point rod (the individual angler with the most points each day), overall high point fish, overall high point rod, overall high point boat.
Spectators are welcome to attend the daily weigh-ins, which will be held from around 4:30pm onwards on the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
