A Devonshire man was today remanded into custody for allegedly robbing a woman of her cell phone.
Sherwin Ible, 28, pleaded not guilty to robbing Mikala Simmons on July 17 in Sandys of a Samsung Galaxy worth $199.
Mr Ible also denied breaking into a Lemarce Estate, Warwick home and stealing a gold ring, three earrings and other gold jewellery to the value of $2,130.
After a lengthy bail hearing with submissions by his lawyer, Simone Bean, Mr Ible was remanded into custody until August 8.
