The Bermuda Brazilian Football School started their fifth Annual Cultural and Educational Football Tour in Denmark with a bang, winning their first two matches.
BBFS played EB Streyburm from the Faroe Islands and won 10-0, with Rahzir Smith-Jones
leading the scoring with a hat trick.
Erik Correia added two goals, and Diione Millet, Khyee Hollis, Jarryd Richardson, Reese Jones, and Christen Lugo rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece.
The second match pitted the Bermuda boys up against TarsUglit IF Blue from Denmark, and they turned in another strong performance, winning 6-1. Christen Lugo opened the scoring for Bermuda with a goal in the first 10 seconds by applying good pressure on a backpass by the opposing team.
Bermuda didn’t look back, going up 3-0 by half-time and finishing with a solid 6-1 victory.
Correia and Smith-Jones each scored twice, while Hollis also got himself on the scoresheet.
The Bermudian boys are meeting up with a total of 920 teams from around the USA, Poland, Norway, and Portugal, and hope to continue their winning streak today when they take on two Norwegian teams. n
