A 44-year-old man appeared in the monthly Arraignments Session today charged with sexually assaulting a woman while armed with a knife.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied entering a Pembroke home, armed with a knife and stealing a cell phone.
He also pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a woman and threatening to use a knife and robbing the woman of cash.
The matter was adjourned for trial on September 30 and the defendant was remanded into custody.
Four men appeared in Supreme Court to face drug charges.
Dennis Zuill, 35 and Dennis Thomas, 39 both pleaded not guilty to conspiring with others not before the court to import the controlled drug cocaine into Bermuda between a date unknown and July 27, 2012.
Both men will face trial on October 14 and were released on bail.
Roger Wainwright, 54, pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of equipment to be used in connection with a controlled drug on March 8.
He also denied concealing property, namely cash, which represents the proceeds of criminal conduct, for the purpose of avoiding prosecution for drug trafficking.
The matter was adjourned for mention on July 15 and Mr Wainwright was remanded into custody.
Dave Trotman, 40, pleaded not guilty to importing the controlled drug cocaine into Bermuda on December 18.
He also denied possession of cocaine on the same date.
He will stand trial on August 26 and was released on bail.
Finally, Wanda Bowe, 42 and Melina Bean, 21, both denied having $160,000 in cash that represented the proceeds of criminal conduct.
They will face trial on November 4 and had bail extended.
