We live in prophetic times as the 'last days' are upon us
The example and character of these days have actually existed before. As a matter of biblical reality and truth, we can assuredly state that we are living in the last days.
Matthew 24: 36-40
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Am I right or what? What a time of divine irony to actually be able to experience. There are those who call right wrong and wrong right. There are those who borrow scriptural texts to support their decisions, but they do not daily commune with Jesus Christ, who is the central figure of the Bible.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Bermuda, these days are interesting. (I just have to say it again). For while we must speak against the sins of the people of this island, we also recognize that by the existence of such sins, the second coming of Jesus is even nearer.
Yes, Satan thinks he is so smart by allowing sins to become the legalized way of living. The devil does not even understand that as he gets his way, he basically heralds the return of Jesus Christ.
The sad thing about the plan of the enemy is that he desires to steal, kill, and destroy as many as possible and therefore his methodology has digressed to the unimaginable sins. The Bible refers to them as abominations.
The devil will steal a man or a woman's God-given identity and have him or her behave in a most weird way. The devil will kill each person's God-given purpose by having humans attack and kill each other. The devil will destroy the hopes and dreams of future generations, by confusing the mind and thus the behaviour of this present generation.
Hence, while ministers must continue to preach the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ, we must also realize that the Word of God, concerning the last days or these perilous times, must come to pass, because God recorded it in His Holy Word.
My heart goes out to those who by their voice and their vote would have placed on the books (men's book of law), those things that are spoken against in The Bible (God's book of life). Wow.
What a way to go down in history, as being one who ushered in the return of God by helping to become manifest, once again, the days of Noah.
Saints, we now have less time to do more work. The night season is fast approaching when no work can be done. We have less earthly time to bring about a heavenly work. Hence, it's back to the Book - back to The Bible, all the more. We have much work to do. The harvest is ripe and ready to be reaped. Yes, the fields are white and ripe and we must gather in the God-provided fruit of His Kingdom.
I conclude by writing that because time is shorter, I must do the work of the Gospel with a more intense passion. What I have done in the past is no longer enough. There is more work to do. Got to go now.... Blessings Abound![[In-content Ad]]
