MONDAY, JULY 30: Jenaya Wade-Fray was healthy but couldn’t help prevent Great Britain going down to defeat to Canada 65 to 73 in a preliminary round basketball game.
Wade-Fray, missed GB’s opening loss to second ranked Australia on Saturday.
Wade-Fray didn’t start the game, but saw 19 minutes of playing time and scored five points in the loss. She also had a steal and four turnovers.
Great Britain was winning this contest 61 to 59 before Canada went on a 14 to 4 run to pull away with the victory.
Great Britain plays Russia on Wednesday.
