It was a surprise finish to the Armadillo Ladies Classic. Classy ladies led Upstarts by 2.5 points going into the final match, but there was no doubt as to who the better team was when the last pin fell.

Upstarts demolished the Ladies 17 to 3 to take the title by 12 points. Patrice Tucker and Kenneisha Simmons both rolled well with Simmons taking high series honours by three points with her 676 while Tucker bested Simmons by three points for high game honours with a 256.

King Pins were crowned league champs after beating Royal Gazette 3-1 last week. There were plenty of 200s to go around as Terrylyn Jones (210), Shirieka Lambert (210), Sharon Gibson (200), Maurice Lowe (243), Kenneth Fox (221) and Anthony Smith (203) all reached that mark.

Jaron Tucker rolled a 242, piping Phillip Francis by one pin and Robert Wilson by two. Pebbles Tucker was the top female bowler with a 211. Pat Price missed her 200 by one pin while Kenneisha Simmons and Francis Trott both rolled a 193.
