Under-10s make easy work of Caymans in 20 to 5 victory
During the match both teams displayed excellent skills and great commitment. Cayman out rucked Bermuda, but it was Bermuda's superiority in the passing and support play that saw Jacob Robb set up Padraic O'Shaughnessy to go over the line for the first try. Later, a well worked penalty saw O'Shaughnessy go over the line again just before half time taking the score to 10-0.
Throughout the match, Bermuda dominated the scrums, winning a number of balls against the head. Early in the second half some good hooking by Liam Page saw Bermuda take a Cayman scrum feed, which allowed Robbie Turnbull and Sam Winn both to have an attempt at the line before offloading to Tyler Kendall who scored a try in the corner.
Cayman, who fought hard all game, were eventually rewarded for their efforts with a well deserved try, taking the score to 15-5, lifting their spirits and keeping them in the game.
However, in the dying moments of the game, a fantastic break by Billy Montgomery saw Bermuda take the final score to 20-5 seconds before the final whistle.[[In-content Ad]]
