WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9: A tropical storm warning has been issued as Sean moves closer to Bermuda.

The storm has winds of 50 miles an hour and is about 470 miles southwest of Bermuda moving at three miles per hour, said the National Hurricane Centre.

The warning means winds of at least 39 miles per hour from the approaching storm are expected within 36 hours.

The Bermuda Weather said: “Tropical Storm Sean, 390 nautical miles to our southwest, will curve north, then northeast over the next couple of days.

“Its closest point of approach will be around 100 nautical miles to our northwest early Friday morning.

“Conditions will remain windy with occasional showers, with tropical storm force winds expected Thursday evening through Friday morning.”
