TUESDAY, JAN. 11: The City of Hamilton today announced that trenching works have begun in the parking lane along the south side of Victoria Street between Court Street and Cedar Avenue.  

The City is working to ensure that traffic disruptions are minimized and, where possible, parking bays will still be functional.

The trenching work is being carried out by various utility companies in preparation for future major asphalt improvements along the street.

The City of Hamilton apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
