Town hall meeting for Budget will be Tuesday

Premier Paula Cox will hold a third town hall meeting to discuss the 2011 - 2012 National Budget on Tuesday in Somerset. 

The meeting will be held on Tuesday March 22, at Somerset Primary School at 7pm.

Residents will have the opportunity from the Premier and cabinet ministers on such topics as the economy, tourism, education, social issues, youth and family, and employment. 

Premier Cox said: “This has proven to be a tremendously fruitful exercise in ensuring that residents have a better understanding about how the National Budget affects them and their family.  

“Previous meetings provided an informative exchange between Ministers and the public, and we want to encourage as many residents as possible to attend the upcoming forum, field their questions, and hear directly about the services and programmes that will be undertaken in the next fiscal year.”
