Karl Terceira was the ultimate winner of the hunt, which included members from the Wellington-Waterloo Hunt Club in Ontario, Canada, who flew over especially for the event.
Instead of using foxes and hounds the 'Bermudianized" version of the hunt involves riders following red marks that have been sprayed onto dying foliage.
The almost five-mile route took riders from Spicelands Riding Center in Warwick, along the railway trail and paths overlooking Southampton's beaches and to the finish line - just off Khyber Pass.
Spectators were waiting at the finish to greet the high-spirited riders who hungrily tucked into a fully-catered lunch.[[In-content Ad]]
