SATURDAY, AUGUST 4: Equestrian Jill Terceiera advanced out of the first qualifying round in jumping.
Terceira and her horse Bernadien Van Westuur had a clear round with only one time penalty.
They are tied for 33rd heading into tomorrow’s second qualifier.
Terceira posted on Facebook: “CLEAR ROUND! 1 time penalty… next round tomorrow!”
The jumping competition begins at 7am Bermuda Time on Sunday.
