Securely lock your bikes - police
TUESDAY, NOV. 6: The Bermuda Police Service continues to remind motorcycle and auxiliary cycle owners/riders to securely lock their vehicles before leaving them unattended. Recently several motorcycles were removed from the City of Hamilton area, apparently as a result of being left unlocked or having keys left in their ignitions.
Motorcycles and auxiliary cycles should be secured at the handlebars, as well as with a good quality supplemental lock before being left unattended for any extended period of time.
In addition, when parking a motorcycle or auxiliary cycle, avoid leaving it in a secluded area. If parking outside overnight, a well-lit and busy area is recommended.
Suspicious activity or individuals near any parked vehicles should be reported to the main police number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.
