'Salon' cuts it with launch party
FRIDAY, JULY 8: The latest edition of Salon magazine is to be launched tomorrow.
The spring/summer 2011 edition is the second for the Bermudian publication.
Salon provides a local perspective on fashion and beauty, relationships, lifestyle and the business of running a salon.
Its editorial content is focused on a target audience of salon owners, hairdressers and their clients.
Since the inaugural fall/winter 2010 edition, readership has steadily grown.
In addition to hair salons and spas, the magazine will be on sale at Phoenix stores, The Supermart and People’s Pharmacy.
Tomorrow’s launch includes a hairstyling demonstration, complimentary food and drinks, a signing by editor Rinelle White, and a 15 per cent discount with home accessories and furnishings store Orange Bay Company, which hosts the event at 10 Harvey Road, Paget, from 6pm.
Ms White said: “The launch event is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
“Salon has received great support from the community, in terms of readership, distribution and advertising. This event is our way of saying thank you and celebrating a milestone — the printing of our second edition.”
