Somerset has a well-balanced team with a good mix of youth and experience and I feel my chances are very good.

St. George's, like they always do, have picked a team for a draw. They don't look to win when they've got the Cup, they just look to retain it. I believe if you think you've got good enough players you should always go for a win but that's their choice and it is the way they always do it.

I think it comes down to a lack of confidence on their part.

They have picked a team full of batsmen and it is going to be a challenge to get them out twice. But I really believe we have everything in our attack this year.

We have five spinners, five seamers, medium pace, fast bowlers, swing, right arm, left arm - you name it, we've got it.

If something don't work, we have everything in our arsenal to throw at them.

And if that don't work? Well they will deserve to retain the cup.

We've been aggressive with our team selections and we will be aggressive with our tactics over the two days as well.

But we have to play good cricket. If we do that, everything will fall into place.

We have a good mix of players with the bat. We'll be looking for Chris Douglas and Dion Stovell to get us off to a good start and then with Janeiro Tucker and Stephen Outerbridge in the middle order we have players who can put runs on the board and raise the run rate when required.

With the ball, I'll be looking for us to be aggressive.

We need early wickets from myself, Malachi and Jordan De Silva.

We've picked two colts this year - Deunte Darrell, who is 16, and Joshua Gilbert, 15.

It's a big stage for two young players but cricket is cricket. The game doesn't change just because it's Cup Match.

The players, like myself, that have been around for a little while have to help them and make sure the occasion doesn't affect them.

Both of them have performed so well this season that it was an easy decision to throw them in there.

We were disappointed to miss out on Landro Minors but I can't blame a guy for going with his heart.

I know my hearts at Somerset and if St. George's had invited me for a trial I wouldn't have gone, so I know where he's coming from.

It was actually a very quick selection meeting at Somerset this year. Everybody was on the same page and we believe we have picked a team that can win it.

I really feel we have the better team.
