Teresa Perozzi hasn’t had much to smile about since she pummelled Scroller Carrington to become Bermuda's first world boxing champion. It’s been one administrative disaster after another, with the WIBC trying to take away her title. But, although the title Perozzi fought for is no longer officially hers, one good thing has come of all the squabbling, outside the ring. The NABC stepped into the row last month and awarded the Bermudian fighter its vacant middleweight belt. And there's no disputing this one. The belt arrived in the post on Friday. Perozzi is still waiting to hear if she will defend her new title this month. If not, it will be next year before she gets back in the ring.
