New roundabout in Hamilton parish
WEDNESDAY, JULY 21: The Ministry of Works and Engineering advises the motoring public that effective today, the new roundabout at the junction of Wilkinson Avenue and North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish has been put into operation.
The roundabout construction commenced in mid June, with an end of July completion date anticipated. In the meantime, changed road conditions, including temporary road realignment, temporary signs, traffic control and changed vehicle movements, should be anticipated.
The Ministry of Works and Engineering apologizes for any inconvenience that the road improvement works are causing and encourages motorists to exercise greater than normal caution when approaching the area. Road users should remain particularly vigilant until such time that they become familiar with the new road alignment scheme, including the operation of the new roundabout.[[In-content Ad]]The Bermuda Sun bids farewell...
