Motivation is the engine that drives success
24th holiday. What is also special about the month of May is that the Bermuda Small Circle Jujitsu & Fitness Kickboxing Academy celebrates its fifth anniversary. I can tell you it wasn't an easy ride. Some months were really tough. What kept us getting up day after day to keep pushing on was motivation. Motivation is what keeps you looking at the bright side all the time.
Let's be honest, do you have friends that are always pessimistic?
Always commenting that life always seems doomed to fail. This pessimistic person never has any motivation to see things through because as far as they are concerned nothing ever seems to happen for them.
Here is a famous quote: "People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does
bathing; that's why it's recommended daily."
Gang, we need to motivate ourselves constantly, it's not something that just shows up. Motivation drives us to work hard to reach our goals. Success doesn't just happen by luck as some might think. Success happens to those that prepare for it and then take the opportunity when it shows itself.
Motivation is the engine that drives you to your success.
You could just watch television instead of going to fitness kickboxing class, but if you remind yourself of the motivation behind losing weight (a wedding or class reunion, for example), then you are more likely to make the right choice. More and more parents are motivated about having their child join a martial art school to learn important life skills.
These life skills will in turn motivate their child to be successful.
Never let your motivation slip and never lose sight of that final goal, so you can keep moving in the right direction.
Hey, gang, next month we will talk about another life skill as we explore the amazing world of martial arts.
Take care.
